Design system and Figma Buzz for KOMPAN
About the project
KOMPAN designs playgrounds and outdoor fitness used all over the world. I worked with the team every week, mostly on their growing design system.
Together with their in-house designer, I expanded their existing Figma library with a clearer colour logic and component structure, now used across internal products and the company website. The tricky part wasn't the components themselves. It was building a foundation library of core components that more specific libraries could build on, without turning the whole thing into a maze.
Then the job moved into marketing. I ran Figma training and helped roll out Figma Buzz across 22 international markets, so local teams can make on-brand material themselves instead of waiting for the design team.
